ELEPH-ANTS ’ goal is simple: to pre-think practical solutions that keep our planet liveable for all – without shying away from the complexity of the underlying problems. To find best practices, concretely implementable, feasible, smart solutions for today and the future.

The ELEPH-ANTS  is an analytical and creative lab with three platforms, on which projects are developed and promoted:

• Renewable Resources: Technical ideas, concepts, models and prototypes for the sustainable use of our planet’s renewable resources.
• Basic Utilities: Approaches to tackling the severe and chronic basic development gap in infrastructure, agriculture and ecosystem management in the world’s poorest regions.
• Transnational Governance: Solutions to mitigate societal, cross-border problems caused by ineffective governance, inadequate implementation models, ideological limitations or lack of awareness.

ELEPH-ANTS  will never claim to always find the ultimate solution, and knows that sooner or later even better solutions will follow. To a certain extent, it is in the nature of things that menus from the ELEPH-ANTS  kitchen will be met with incomprehension or rejection
